About
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
I hold a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and surgery (BAMS) from the University of Kelaniya, Sri Lanka, and am a registered member of the International Council of Ayurvedic Medicine (ICAM) in Australia. My professional training and clinical experience provide strong foundation in Ayurvedic medicine, developed through practice in both Sri Lanka and Australia.
CLINICAL EXPERIENCE
* 2014 - 2018 I Private Ayurvedic Practice - Sri Lanka
Provided Ayurvedic consultations, assessed individual health needs, and planned personalised Ayurvedic therapies according to each client's health concerns and constitution. This included approximately four years of experience caring for international clients.
*2018 - 2023 I Government Ayurvedic Health Service - Sri Lanka
Worked as a Medical Officer in the government Ayurvedic sector, providing clinical assessment, Ayurvedic care and ongoing patient management across a diverse range of health conditions.
*Since 2023 I Ayustralia
Continuing professional development in Australia and establishing AYURA WELLNESS CLINIC to provide personalised Ayurvedic consultations and traditional therapies for health and wellbeing.

Nila Treatment
A Traditional Touch for Natural Healing
Nila Treatment is a traditional practice passed from teacher to student through direct teaching and practical experience. It involves applying focused acupressure on the specific points that are known to collect a network of subtle channels (Srothas). These channels are interconnected and influence variuos parts of the body, helping to support the natural flow of energy and overall balance.
Following an Ayurvedic consultation, the practitioner will assess whether the Nila Treatment is appropriate for the individual. When indicated, it may be incorporated during the consultation or recommended as part of the treatment plan.
Duration: 20-30min
Provided according to individual needs, following practitioner assessment.
